Alisia is a doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership, Evaluation, and Organizational Development at the University of Louisville.  Her dissertation research is centered in the socio-cultural factors that influence the participation of underrepresented groups in technology.  She is also the Director of Community and Education Initiatives with the Microsoft Future of Work Initiative, a partnership between Microsoft and the city of Louisville to make Louisville a hub for innovative technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science.
