Become a Community Change Agent
Every community has issues that need to be addressed and assets to be highlighted. When you leverage data and technology, you can tackle those issues in a meaningful and scientific way.
In the TECC Boss program, you select an issue and community that is personal to you. Then you gather data, brainstorm solutions, and create a technology prototype that will address that issue.

Inclusive, Diverse, Equitable and Accessible Approach
Interns gain experience going through a complete project management lifecycle from ideation to completion while addressing a challenge in their own community.
In the ideation phase, we encourage interns to consider if their ideas are Inclusive, Diverse, Equitable and Accessible. This helps them to ensure they final deliverable whether it be a website, an app or a game, supports everyone in their community.
Leadership Opportunities
Developing leaders is part of our mission. During our TECC Boss program, each project team nominates a project manager to lead their peers from ideation to completion.
That said, every person on a team plays an important role. We encourage all interns to be their best - Good humans supporting good humans.

Proven success and representation
In 2022, forty-five interns started and completed the TECC Boss program. 93% of the participants were Black & Brown and 15% LGBTQ+.
Projects supported numerous community organizations and causes.
