Programs and Services

Our programs give youth the chance to learn, teach, and lead through technology. From summer internships to AI leadership development and paid apprenticeships, participants gain hands-on experience while contributing to projects that matter in their schools and communities.

LinkUP

LinkUp is an apprenticeship program that gives Fold members real-world experience applying their skills. Apprentices lead workshops for children ages 5 to 15 at schools, churches, and community centers, teaching coding, game design, and engineering. They also take on paid projects such as web design and social media support for local nonprofits, using their knowledge to serve the Louisville community.

TECC Boss

TECC Boss is a summer internship program for youth ages 16 to 21. Participants identify a community issue they care about and design a technology-based solution. They learn skills in AI, UX/UI, and cybersecurity while developing prototypes and leading workshops for younger students. The program is led by managers who were once TECC Boss interns, creating a supportive learning environment built on experience and mentorship.

The FOLD

The Fold is a year-long leadership program for past LinkUp and TECC Boss interns. Members meet each month to learn about artificial intelligence, leadership, and personal growth, and take part in retreats and monthly sessions. Active participants also earn paid teaching opportunities at where they lead tech workshops for youth. The Fold focuses on building confidence, collaboration, and purpose through technology.
